eXplore Bellevue

Bellevue, WA Community
As February approaches, love fills the air, and it’s also running through the streets of Downtown Bellevue. The Alexander's Hope Valentine's Day Dash 5k run/walk is set to return for its 6th year on February 14th, welcoming participants from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST.
The event kicks off and concludes at Downtown Bellevue Park, offering a picturesque route that blends a satisfying physical challenge with stunning views of the area. This is not only a chance for fitness enthusiasts to get moving but also an excellent opportunity for families, dog owners, and those with strollers to participate in a fun, inclusive community event.

Behind the Race

The Valentine's Day Dash goes beyond being just a race. Each participant helps support Alexander's Hope, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises awareness about organ donation and provides lifesaving heart screenings to youth. The cause adds a heartwarming layer of meaning to the event, encouraging people to run, walk, or volunteer to support a cause that can make a real difference in the lives of others.

Entry Fee

For those interested in taking part, the event offers a structured and accessible pricing system. The entry fee is an affordable $25 if you register by January 31, 2025. After that date, the cost increases to $35, providing a fair opportunity for early birds and those who decide to join a little later.

For those who can’t participate physically but still wish to support the cause, registration remains open until February 8, 2025, at no cost. This inclusive approach ensures that everyone can be part of this meaningful occasion, whether they’re running, walking, or simply contributing in other ways.

See You There!

Whether you’re an individual aiming for a personal best, a family ready to enjoy a leisurely stroll, or someone eager to support a vital cause, the Valentine's Day Dash offers an event that celebrates all forms of participation. With easy access to event information and support, organizers make it simple for anyone to get involved and be part of this special day that combines love, community, and a worthy cause.
